The Prince of Wales this morning visited Bessvale Farm, 63 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mrs Joan Christie).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later visited the village of Gracehill, County Antrim.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Royal Ulster Constabulary George Cross Foundation Memorial Garden, Belfast, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Dame Mary Peters).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron, the Commonwealth Games Federation, today opened the Commonwealth Youth Games on the Isle of Man.

The Countess of Wessex, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Wittering, this morning received Air Commodore Richard Knighton upon relinquishing his appointment as Station Commander and Group Captain Richard Hill upon assuming the appointment.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited the Drover Sculpture at Dingwall and Highland Marts Limited, Humberston, Bailechaul Road, Dingwall, Ross-shire, and was received by Mr Andrew Matheson (Deputy Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Anta Scotland Limited at Anta Pottery, Fearn, Tain, Ross-shire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty (Mrs Christopher Bowen).

The Princess Royal, Patron, International Sheep Dog Society, later attended the International Sheep Dog Trials at Fearn Farm, Fearn.
