The Earl of Wessex this morning departed from Kenya for Uganda and was received later on arrival at Entebbe Airport by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Uganda (His Excellency Mr Martin Shearman).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, later attended a Meeting at the Kampala Serena Hotel, Kampala.

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon attended a ‘One year to go’ event given by the British Council in conjunction with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games at Kyadondo Rugby Club, Kampala.

His Royal Highness later visited the Uganda Museum in Kampala.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner given by the British High Commissioner at the Residence in Kampala.
