The Duke of York this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by Saudi Binladin Group at the company’s offices in Jeddah.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner for representatives of Saudi businesses given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (His Excellency Sir Tom Phillips) at the Residence in Riyadh.

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, London Mozart Players, and Patron, Windsor Festival, this evening attended the London Mozart Players and Choir of St. George’s Chapel Concert at Windsor Castle.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Mencap, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal, President, the Royal British Legion Women’s Section, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended a Service of Thanksgiving for the Ninetieth Anniversary of the Royal British Legion in Westminster Abbey, followed by a Reception at Church House, Great Smith Street, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, RNVR Youth Sail Training Trust, this afternoon attended a Trustees’ Meeting at Manches LLP, Aldwych House, 81 Aldwych, London WC2.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later named the Vendee Globe 2012 yacht GAMESA at Southampton Boat Show, Mayflower Park, Southampton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, subsequently presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to the Ocean Youth Trust South at the Southampton Boat Show.

The Princess Royal, Patron, RYA Sailability, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, afterwards attended the Regatta 2011 Prizegiving Presentation at Sunsail House, the Port House, Port Solent, Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, Adjutant General’s Corps, this afternoon received Colonel Robert Davie upon assuming the appointment of Regimental Colonel.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, this morning received Professor Anthony Bowne (Principal, Trinity Laban) and Professor Derek Aviss (Principal, Trinity College of Music).
