The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the London Gateway DP World Project, the Manorway, Stanford-le-Hope, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).

His Royal Highness, Honorary Member, Hull Kung Fu, this afternoon received members of the Committee.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this evening attended a Dinner and officially re-opened the Arts Club, 40 Dover Street, London W1.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, The Yorkshire Regiment (14th/15th, 19th and 33rd/76th Foot), this afternoon received Lieutenant Colonel David Colthup upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment.

His Royal Highness later visited WorldSkills 2011 and met the winners of the National Training Awards, ExCeL London, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, this morning attended the Ninth International Olympic Committee Coordination Commission at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, 65 Fleet Street, London EC4.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Voluntary Service Overseas, this afternoon held a Supporters’ Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, later chaired a Council Meeting at Royal Thames Yacht Club, 60 Knightsbridge, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, this evening attended a Reception for the Ninth International Olympic Committee Coordination Commission at City Hall, the Queen’s Walk, London SE1.

The Princess Royal, Commandant-in-Chief (Youth), St John Ambulance later attended a Fundraising Dinner at St. John’s Gate, Clerkenwell, London EC1.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, President, British Expertise, today chaired the panel of judges for the British Expertise International Awards at Ten Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, the Friends of St. Paul’s Cathedral, this afternoon visited St. Paul’s Cathedral School, 2 New Change, London EC4.

Her Royal Highness was later present at a Chorister’s Rehearsal in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4, and subsequently attended the City Churches Festival Evensong in the Cathedral.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning visited Croft House Residential Home, Bridge Street, Williton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Lady Gass).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Hestercombe Gardens, Cheddon Fitzpaine, Taunton, Somerset.

The Duke of Kent later officially open the new YMCA site, including the George Williams Centre and Gerald Townsend House, Friarn Avenue, Bridgwater, Somerset.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception to mark the Day of German Unity at the Residence of the German Ambassador in London.
