COURT CIRCULAR

Government House, Canberra, ACT, Australia

The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (Ms. Quentin Bryce) was received by The Queen at Government House, Canberra, this morning.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards embarked in Royal Australian Navy Admiral’s Barge at Government House Wharf and travelled on Lake Burley Griffin.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness disembarked at Commonwealth Park and were received by Ms. Katy Gallagher MLA (Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory).

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visited Floriade, the spring flower festival, in Commonwealth Park and were received by Mr. Andrew Barr MLA (Deputy Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory).

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness viewed the Victory Garden and met Australian War Memorial staff and volunteers, and subsequently viewed a floral design exhibition.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

Clarence House

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, this morning received members of the National Osteoporosis Society at Clarence House on the occasion of World Osteoporosis Day.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, this afternoon received Mr. Paul Hughes (Honorary Colonel).

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the London Chamber Orchestra, afterwards received the Reverend John Wates upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr. Martin Lovegrove upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, this evening attended a Concert and Dinner at St. James’s Palace.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning visited Precious and Base Metal Components Limited, Acres Hill Lane, Sheffield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr. David Moody).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited ITM Power plc, 22 Atlas Way, Sheffield.

The Duke of York this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Mansion House, High Street, Doncaster.

His Royal Highness later visited Bridon International Limited, Balby Carr Bank, Doncaster.

The Duke of York this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace for Innovation Through United Kingdom Entrepreneurship.

His Royal Highness afterwards received The President of Mongolia.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited Bristol Zoo Gardens, Clifton, in celebration of the One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs. John Prior).

His Royal Highness this afternoon opened Mortimer House, Britton Gardens, Kingswood, Bristol.

The Earl of Wessex later visited Knowle West Media Centre, Leinster Avenue, Knowle West, Bristol.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon opened Suffolk One, Scrivener Drive, Ipswich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk (the Lord Tollemache).

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened Ipswich East Fire Station in Haven Road, Ramsomes Europark, Ipswich.

The Countess of Wessex subsequently opened Woodlands for Suffolk Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust in Heath Road, Ipswich.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, this evening attended a Dinner at the Wallace Collection, Hertford House, Manchester Square, London W1.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise to ZED Tunnel Guidance Limited, Russell House, Molesey Road, Walton-on-Thames, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mrs. Timothy Goad).

His Royal Highness later visited Abbot’s Hospital, High Street, Guildford, Surrey.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon officially opened the new Vocational Centre at Tomlinscote School and Sixth Form College, Tomlinscote Way, Frimley, Surrey.

His Royal Highness later visited an exhibition from Zibo, China, at the Lightbox, Chobham Road, Woking, Surrey.

The Duke of Kent, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), this evening attended the Caring for Courage Dinner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, President, this afternoon presented the Royal Humane Society Awards at Buckingham Palace.

Her Royal Highness, Vice Patron, Royal Over-Seas League, later received Mr. Robert Newell upon relinquishing his appointment as Director General and Major General Roderick Porter upon assuming the appointment.

Princess Alexandra, Patron, CCHF All About Kids, received Mr. Andrew Cartwright upon assuming his appointment as Chairman.
