COURT CIRCULAR

Government House, Perth, Western Australia

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh today visited Melbourne and were received by the Governor of Victoria (the Hon. Alex Chernov) and the Premier of Victoria (the Hon. Ted Baillieu MLA).

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness this morning visited the Royal Children’s Hospital, 50 Flemington Road, Parkville, and were received by the Chairman (Mr. Tony Beddison) and Professor Christine Kilpatrick (Chief Executive Officer).

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh toured the facilities including Emergency Department, Cardiac In-patient Ward, Intra-operative Magnetic Resonance Imaging suite and the meerkat enclosure.

Her Majesty unveiled a plaque to open the Royal Children’s Hospital.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon visited the Ian Potter Centre: National Gallery of Victoria Australia, Federation Square, and were received by the Chairman of National Gallery of Victoria Council of Trustees (Mr. Allan Myers) and Lady Potter.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness toured the indigenous art galleries and met artists and students.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh afterwards walked through Federation Square and boarded a tram and proceeded towards Government House.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness later attended a Reception given by the Governor of Victoria at Government House.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were subsequently entertained to Luncheon by the Governor at Government House.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness later arrived at Perth International Airport and were received by the Governor of Western Australia (Mr. Malcolm McCusker) and the Premier of Western Australia (the Hon. Colin Barnett MLA).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust, this afternoon held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness this afternoon departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Saudi Arabia, and was received upon arrival this evening at Riyadh Military Air Base by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (His Excellency Sir Tom Phillips).

The Prince of Wales this evening presented condolences to the Saudi Royal Family following the death of The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Clive Alderton is in attendance.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, the Ebony Horse Club, this morning opened the Ebony Horse Club community Riding Centre, 51 Millbrook Road, Brixton, London SW9, and was received by Mr. Simon Duckworth (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened the newly renovated Bessborough Centre, 1 Bessborough Place, Pimlico, Westminster, London SW1.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, the Lady Joseph Trust, this evening attended a Reception at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

The Duchess of Cambridge, on behalf of The Prince of Wales, this evening held a Dinner at Clarence House for In Kind Direct, of which His Royal Highness is Founder.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in China.

His Royal Highness this morning visited Yang Ai School, Guangzhou.

The Duke of York afterwards had a Meeting with the Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province at the Guangdong Government Building, Guangzhou.

His Royal Highness subsequently had a Meeting with the President of China Southern Airlines at Grand Hyatt Guangzhou.

The Duke of York this afternoon visited Huawei Technologies, Shenzhen.

His Royal Highness afterwards had a Meeting with the Vice-Mayor of Shenzhen at the Civic Centre, Shenzhen.

The Duke of York this evening attended a Dinner for United Kingdom and Chinese businesses based in Shenzhen at the Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, today presented Awards to young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at St. James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Association, this evening attended a Reception at the Corinthia Hotel, Whitehall Place, London SW1.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements.

Her Royal Highness this morning visited the Magistrates Court, Pademba Road, Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The Princess Royal afterwards visited MV Africa Mercy, Freetown.

Her Royal Highness later departed from Sierra Leone for Ghana and was received this afternoon at Kotoka International Airport by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Ghana (His Excellency Mr. Peter Jones).

The Princess Royal this evening attended a Reception given by the British High Commissioner at the Residence in Accra.

Her Royal Highness later attended a Trafalgar Night Dinner given by the British High Commissioner at the Residence.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Heritage of London Trust, this evening attended a Dinner at Strawberry Hill House, 268 Waldegrave Road, Twickenham, Middlesex.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Honorary Liveryman, the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London, this evening attended the Annual Court, Yeomanry and Livery Dinner at Apothecaries’ Hall, Black Friars Lane, London EC4.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Honorary Patron, this morning attended a Board Meeting of the American Associates of the Royal Academy Trust at the Knickerbocker Club, 2 East 62nd Street, New York, United States of America.
