The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, this morning drove to Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and was received by the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia (the Hon Julia Gillard MP) and His Excellency the Rt Hon Kamalesh Sharma (Commonwealth Secretary-General) and opened the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Her Majesty later received the Prime Minister of Canada.
The Queen this afternoon gave a Luncheon at Government House for new Commonwealth Heads of Government.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening gave a Dinner at the Pan Pacific Perth Hotel for Commonwealth Heads of Government.
The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the Special Air Service Regiment at Campbell Barracks, Swanbourne, Western Australia.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope (First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff, First and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp to The Queen) at the Memorial Mass for Admiral of the Fleet Sir Julian Oswald (formerly Chief of the Naval Staff, First Sea Lord and First and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp to The Queen) which was held in St John’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Portsmouth, Hampshire, today.
The Prince of Wales was represented by Admiral Sir Jock Slater.
The Duke of York was represented by Vice Admiral Rory McLean.
The Princess Royal was represented by Admiral Sir Jonathon Band.

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China.
His Royal Highness this morning received a briefing on the West Kowloon Cultural District at the Executive Director’s Office, West Kowloon Cultural District, Kowloon.
The Duke of York afterwards received a briefing and tour of the Kai Tak Development Site, Kowloon.
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended an Inward Investors Luncheon at the Hong Kong Club.
The Duke of York afterwards received the Chief Executive, HSBC Hong Kong at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.
His Royal Highness received a briefing on the Vocational Training Council at the Chinese Cuisine Training Institute.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning visited Tullow Oil Floating Production and Storage Offtake Vessel Kwame Nkrumah, off the coast of Ghana.
Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Paramount Chief’s Palace, Accra.
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence later visited the Western Regional Command, Ghana Navy Base, Accra.
Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence later departed from Ghana for the United Kingdom.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, this morning attended the Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust Annual Conference at Belton Woods Hotel, near Grantham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Anthony Worth).
