By command of The Queen, Mr. Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) received His Excellency Mr. Gilberto Arias at St. James’s Palace this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Panama to the Court of St. James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning departed from Royal Air Force Brize Norton for Kuwait and was received upon arrival this evening at Kuwait International Airport by The Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait.

Mr. Clive Alderton, Mr. Patrick Harverson, Miss Eva Omaghomi and Major Peter Flynn are in attendance.

The Duke of York today carried out the following engagements in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

His Royal Highness this morning called upon the Prime Minister of Malaysia at Seri Perdana, Putrajaya.

The Duke of York afterwards attended a Meeting with Epsom College Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur Education City at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

His Royal Highness this afternoon called upon the Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia at Sasana Kijang.

The Duke of York afterwards called upon The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia at Istana Terengganu.

His Royal Highness later called upon the Vice President, Corporate Strategy Planning of Petronas at Petronas Tower One.

The Duke of York subsequently attended a Meeting with Malaysia Airlines at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner with British and Malaysian companies at the Residence of the British High Commissioner.

The Earl of Wessex this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this morning visited Gloucestershire County Council at Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
