The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Corporal Benjamin Roberts-Smith VC was received by Her Majesty.

The Rt. Hon. Mark Francois MP (Vice Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The Queen and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan visited The Queen this afternoon.

The Queen, Patron, and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception to mark the Seventieth Anniversary of the Council of Christians and Jews at Crosby Hall, Cheyne Walk, London SW3, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer), the Bishop of Manchester and Chairman of the Council of Christians and Jews (the Right Reverend Nigel McCulloch) and Mr. Christopher Moran (Vice-Chairman).

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning attended a Meeting of the English Outdoor Council at Buckingham Palace.

The Lord de Mauley (Lord in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this morning upon the arrival of The President of the Republic of Serbia and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

His Royal Highness afterwards received the Romanian Minister of Regional Development and Tourism (Miss Elena Udrea).

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Music in Country Churches, this evening attended a Gala Concert at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

The Duke of York this evening attended the Arab British Chamber of Commerce Thirty Fifth Anniversary Dinner at the Landmark Hotel, Marylebone Road, London NW1.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Malta and was received later upon arrival by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta (Her Excellency Ms. Louise Stanton).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, this evening attended a Reception for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation at the residence of the British High Commissioner.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, afterwards attended a Dinner for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation at Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay, St. George’s Bay, St. Julians.

The Countess of Wessex this morning opened the new Centre at the Lake District Calvert Trust, Little Crosthwaite, Keswick, and was received by Mr. John Fryer-Spedding (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria).

Her Royal Highness later opened Cumbria Cerebral Palsy’s Lister House, Shadygrove Road, Carlisle, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria (Sir James Cropper).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, College of Emergency Medicine, this afternoon attended a “Quality and Safety in Emergency Care” Symposium at the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1.

The Duke of Gloucester, Member, St. George’s Chapel Advisory Committee, this morning attended a College and Chapel of St. George’s Fabric Advisory Committee Meeting at Windsor Castle.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, the Queen’s Club, this afternoon received Major General Andrew Stewart (Chief Executive Officer).

Her Royal Highness, Royal President, the Children’s Society, this evening attended a Service of Evensong in St. Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4, followed by a Reception in the Crypt of the Cathedral.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Royal London Society for Blind People, later attended a Reception at Kensington Palace State Apartments.
