His Excellency Dr. Chris Nonis was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in London.
His Excellency Mr. Daniel Taub was received in audience by Her Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Israel to the Court of St. James’s.
Mr. Matthew Rycroft (Chief Operating Officer, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.
The Queen received the Bishop of Durham (the Right Reverend Justin Welby) who did homage upon his appointment.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Captain General, Royal Marines, this morning attended a Homecoming and Medals Parade at Royal Marines Base Chivenor, Barnstaple, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. Eric Dancer).
His Royal Highness this evening attended the Royal Warrant Holders Association Banquet at Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2.

The Prince of Wales, President, Arts and Business, this afternoon presented The Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy at Clarence House.
His Royal Highness, Patron, the Soil Association and Garden Organic – the Henry Doubleday Research Association, later held a Food for Life Partnership Meeting.
The Prince of Wales afterwards held a Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation Trustees Meeting.
The Duchess of Cornwall, President, Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres, this morning attended a Reception for Maggie’s Oxford at Headington Hill Hall, Oxford Brookes University, Gipsy Lane, Oxford, and was received by Mr. John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
