The Duke of Edinburgh this morning received representatives from the City and Guilds of London Institute when Mr. Michael Howell (Chairman) presented His Royal Highness with a display cabinet to mark The Duke of Edinburgh’s retirement after Sixty years as President.
His Royal Highness, Honorary Member and Patron, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the City of London Club, 19 Old Broad Street, London EC2.
The Duke of Edinburgh this evening held a Reception at St. James’s Palace to mark the launch of Farming in the Park.
The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
By command of The Queen, Mr. Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Professor Royson Mukwena at 2 Palace Gate, London W8, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Zambia in London.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, this afternoon held a Meeting at Clarence House.
His Royal Highness afterwards received Sir Jonathan Cunliffe (Adviser to the Prime Minister on Europe and Global Issues).
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Emmaus UK, this morning visited Emmaus Greenwich, 226 Elmley Street, Plumstead, London SE18, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon received the Rt. Hon. Frank Field MP (Chairman, Liverpool City Region Poverty and Life Chances Commission).

His Royal Highness, Past Captain, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, today held a Past Captains’ Meeting and Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.
The Duke of York, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Lossiemouth, this afternoon received Group Captain Ian Gale upon assuming his appointment as Station Commander.
His Royal Highness, Patron, Fly Navy Heritage Trust, received Mr. Mike Nixon (Chief Executive) and Ms. Sue Eagles (Campaign Director).
The Duke of York received the Rt. Hon. George Osborne MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer).
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception for the Founders Forum at the Serpentine Gallery, Kensington Gardens, London W2.
The Duke of York, Patron, later gave a Dinner for The Duke of York’s Foundation.

The Princess Royal this morning opened the new school building at St. Mary Redcliffe and Temple Church of England Voluntary Aided School, Somerset Square, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs. John Prior).
Her Royal Highness afterwards opened M Shed, Princes Wharf, Wapping Road, Bristol.
The Princess Royal this afternoon opened a new Alabaré Home for Veterans, 1 Pine Grove, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
Her Royal Highness later opened Chescombe Lodge, Westbury Park, Bristol, to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of Chescombe Trust and was received by Mr. Robert Bernays (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).
The Princess Royal, Patron, the Vine Trust, this evening attended a Dinner near Tetbury and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Habitat for Humanity Great Britain, this afternoon received Mr. Michael Kirkwood upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr Stewart Baseley upon assuming the appointment.
The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association (PSP Europe), this evening attended a Carol Concert in St. Clement’s Church, 1 St Clement’s Court, Clement’s Lane, London EC4, followed by a Reception at 68 King William Street, London EC4.

The Duke of Kent, Patron, London Philharmonic Orchestra, this evening attended a Concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1.
