The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited Wolf Safety Lamp Company, Saxon Road Works, Sheffield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr David Moody).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Longley Park Sixth Form College, Horninglow Road, Sheffield.
The Earl of Wessex later watched the Opening Ceremony of the European Figure Skating Championships at Motorpoint Arena, Broughton Lane, Sheffield.
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal, Past Master, the Worshipful Company of Farmers, this morning attended the Sixty First Advanced Agricultural Business Management Course, the Royal Agricultural College, Stroud Road, Cirencester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
