The Princess Royal, Royal Colonel, The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, and Royal Colonel, 52nd Lowland, 6th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the Laying Up of Colours in Canongate Kirk, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor George Grubb, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended the International Rugby Match between Scotland and England at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.
