The Prince of Wales, Prime Warden, was installed as Permanent Master of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights this evening at St James’s Palace and subsequently attended a Reception.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited an Improve Your English class, supported by the charity Quick Reads, at the Headquarters of Transport for London, 55 Broadway, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, this afternoon held a Reception at Clarence House.

The Duke of York this morning visited Hartlepool College of Further Education, Stockton Street, Hartlepool, Cleveland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham (Sir Paul Nicholson).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Nifco UK Limited, Yarm Road, Stockton-on-Tees.

The Duke of York this afternoon visited Gateshead International Business Centre, Mulgrave Terrace, Gateshead, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mr Nigel Sherlock).

His Royal Highness, accompanied by Princess Eugenie, later visited the Theatre Royal, 100 Grey Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, to mark their One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, St Helena Diocesan Association, afterwards attended the Annual General Meeting at Faith House, Tufton Street, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this afternoon visited the Advice Centre at 338 Uxbridge Road, London W12.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force Foundation, this morning received Group Captain Richard Mighall (Chairman of the Trustees) and Group Captain Gary Bunkell (Inspector, Royal Auxiliary Air Force).

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of Worcester, this afternoon received Professor David Green (Vice Chancellor) and Mr John Ryan (Registrar).

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon received Mr Christopher Parsons (Chairman, National Association of Gifted Children) and Mrs Denise Yates (Chief Executive) who presented Her Royal Highness with a commemorative gift.
