Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Hyon Hak Bong was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Choe Jin Ok was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Khouanta Phalivong was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Laos to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Phalivong was also received by Her Majesty.

Mr Matthew Rycroft (Chief Operating Officer, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

The Dean (the Very Reverend John Hall) and Chapter of Westminster Abbey were received by The Queen when Her Majesty presented them with the Statutes of the Abbey.

The Prince of Wales, President, Business in the Community, this morning received Princess Badiya El Hassan of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (Chairman of Mosaic) and Mr Stephen Howard (Chief Executive Officer).

The Duchess of Cornwall today attended the Royal Artillery Gold Cup Day at Sandown Park Racecourse, Portsmouth Road, Esher, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Dame Sarah Goad).
