The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by The Duchess of Cambridge, this morning arrived at Leicester Railway Station and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Jennifer, Lady Gretton).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, accompanied by Her Royal Highness, drove to De Montfort University, Mill Lane, Leicester, and were received by the Chancellor (the Lord Alli), Mr Mike Kapur (Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors) and the Lord Mayor of Leicester (Councillor Robert Wann).
The Queen, escorted by Professor Dominic Shellard (Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive), The Duke of Edinburgh, escorted by the Deputy Chairman and The Duchess of Cambridge, escorted by the Chancellor, viewed cultural dance performances and displays showcasing local charities and projects.
Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness afterwards viewed a Fashion Show and met fashion designers.
His Royal Highness viewed the Square Mile Project.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by The Duchess of Cambridge, this afternoon attended a Multi-Faith Service in Leicester Cathedral and were received by the Bishop of Leicester (the Right Reverend Timothy Stevens) and the Dean of Leicester (the Very Reverend Vivienne Faull).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, accompanied by Her Royal Highness, later walked through St Martin’s Square and were received at St Martins House by the Director (Reverend Peter Hobson) and the Venerable Richard Atkinson (Archdeacon of Leicester).
The Queen, escorted by the Bishop of Leicester, met Faith representatives.
The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess of Cambridge, escorted respectively by the Dean and Mr Riaz Ravat (Faith Training Development Officer, St Philip’s Centre), met representatives of the users of St Martins House.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, accompanied by Her Royal Highness, were entertained to Luncheon at St Martins House.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by The Duchess of Cambridge, subsequently drove through Leicester city centre to Clock Tower and, having been received by the City Mayor (Sir Peter Soulsby), viewed a performance by members of the local Hindu community to celebrate Holi.

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon departed from Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay, Jamaica, for Brazil.

The Duke of York this morning visited Emma Bridgewater pottery, Lichfield, Street, Stoke-on-Trent, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Sir James Hawley).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Michelin Training Centre, Campbell Road, Stoke-on-Trent.
The Duke of York this afternoon visited Newcastle-under-Lyme College, Knutton Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
His Royal Highness, Patron, Badminton England, later visited the All England Open Badminton Championships at the National Indoor Arena, King Edwards Road, Birmingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr Paul Sabapathy).

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning arrived at Gatwick Airport, London, from Antigua and Barbuda.
