The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, today attended a Reception at Hillsborough Castle for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, followed by a Luncheon, and was received by Mrs Fionnuala Cook (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of County Down).

Clarence House 

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, this morning opened the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, Warwick Road, London SW5, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, The Yorkshire Regiment (14th/15th, 19th and 33rd/76th Foot), this morning attended the 3rd Battalion Pre-Deployment Parade and Service in Warminster and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton).

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl of Wessex today visited Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Chamberlain Square, Birmingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr Paul Sabapathy).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine’s Clinical Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Mindelsohn Way, Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse and was received by Her Majesty’s LordLieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
