Windsor Castle

By command of The Queen, Mr. Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Eldridge Stephens at 1 Collingham Gardens, London SW5, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for Saint Lucia in London.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning held a Meeting with representatives from the Crown Estate, Duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall, Church Commissioners, The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, and the National Trust.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this afternoon held a Duchy of Cornwall Land Stewards Meeting.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning received Mr. Stephen Hester (Chief Executive, Royal Bank of Scotland).

The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this afternoon opened the new Indoor Arena at Throstle Nest Farm, Fagley Lane, Bradford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dr. Ingrid Roscoe).

Her Royal Highness later visited Browning House, 126 Chapeltown Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, to mark its Sixtieth Anniversary and opened the new Community Team Centre.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK), this evening attended the “Transporting Competition Horses within the Olympic Year” Seminar at Bishop Burton College, York Road, Beverley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Riding of Yorkshire (the Hon. Mrs. Susan Cunliffe-Lister).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this afternoon officially opened the new Darlington Campus of Teesside University, Vicarage Road, Darlington, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham (Sir Paul Nicholson).

His Royal Highness, Patron, afterwards visited Endeavour Training, Southlands Centre, Ormesby Road, Middlesbrough, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire (the Lord Crathorne).

The Duke of Kent later visited HMS Trincomalee at Graving Dock, Hartlepool Maritime Experience, Jackson Dock, Maritime Avenue, Hartlepool.
