Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Patron, the Scout Association, and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon reviewed the National Parade of Queen’s Scouts at Windsor Castle and were received in the Quadrangle by the Chief Scout (Mr Bear Grylls).

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness inspected the Parade, which subsequently marched past The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.

The Duke of York, on behalf of The Queen in celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, this evening attended a Dinner given by Mr Sunhil Bharti Mittal (Chairman, Bharti Enterprises) in New Delhi, India.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation, this morning attended a Breakfast Meeting at Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, United States of America.

His Royal Highness later departed Chicago O’Hare International Airport for the United Kingdom.

Princess Alexandra, Patron, Jacob Sheep Society, was present at the Thanksgiving Service for Araminta, Lady Aldington (Deputy Patron) which was held in St Michael’s Church, St Michael Road, Winchester, Hampshire, today.
