Buckingham Palace
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the “London as a Global Centre of Fashion” event to mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee in Bromley Town Centre and were received at Queen’s Gardens, Bromley, by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer) and the Mayor of Bromley (Councillor David McBride).
The Queen, escorted by the Mayor, toured fashion-themed “domes” and met London-based fashion designers, and The Duke of Edinburgh, escorted by Councillor Stephen Carr (Leader of Bromley Council), visited the Pavilion Leisure Centre marquee.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Jubilee Road Street Party marquee and met local residents and business representatives.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh later visited Glades Shopping Centre and Market Square, Bromley, and viewed art and fashion displays and met designers, retailers and local students.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon visited St. Mark’s Church of England Academy, Acacia Road, Mitcham, and were received by the Principal (Mr. Chris Mallaband) and the Mayor of Merton (Councillor Gilli Lewis-Lavender).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness attended a Reception for local representatives and subsequently, escorted respectively by the Rt. Hon. Sir John Wheeler (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) and Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London), met Achievers from South London.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were entertained to Luncheon by the Mayor of Merton and the Principal.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh later visited Wild London festival to mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee in Richmond Park and were received by Sir Kenneth Knight (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London), Princess Alexandra and the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames (Councillor Clare Head).
Her Majesty, escorted by the Lord True (Leader of Richmond upon Thames Council) and His Royal Highness, escorted by the Mayor, toured the Recreation, Inspiration and Environment Zones, viewing displays, demonstrations and performances and meeting representatives from local groups, organisations and schools.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh drove slowly through Richmond Park to Holly Lodge and were received by Princess Alexandra and Mr. Ian Dodds (Event Organiser).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness attended a traditional English Afternoon Tea given by Ham and Petersham Women’s Institute at Holly Lodge.
The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
Clarence House
The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, this afternoon visited the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, 32-34 Whitechapel Road, Shadwell, London E1, and was received by Commander John Ludgate (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
His Royal Highness, President, the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, afterwards held a Meeting.
The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust, later gave a Tea at Clarence House.
His Royal Highness, Patron, the Oxford Centre of Islamic Studies, this evening attended a Reception at St. James’s Palace to celebrate the granting of a Royal Charter to the Centre.

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited Lagan College, Manse Road Belfast, County Antrim, to mark the College’s Thirtieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr. David Lindsay).
His Royal Highness, Royal Colonel, 2nd Battalion The Rifles, this afternoon attended a medal parade at Abercorn Barracks, Ballykinler.
The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Reception to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of the Integrated Education Fund at Hillsborough Castle.
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal, Patron, International Centre for Birds of Prey, this morning visited the International Centre for Birds of Prey, Great Boulsdon, Newent, to mark their Forty Fifth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited the Watts Gallery Estate, Down Lane, Compton, Guildford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Dame Sarah Goad).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Grace and Flavour Community Centre, Ripley Lane, West Horsley, Surrey.
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Grange, this afternoon opened ‘the Acorns’ independent living unit, Post House Lane, Bookham, Leatherhead, Surrey.
His Royal Highness later opened the Horsley Jubilee Trail at Stoney Dene Bridge, East Horsley, to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and was received by Mr. Paul Coleman (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).
The Duke of Gloucester subsequently visited Horsley Towers at the De Vere Venues Horsley Park, East Horsley.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, President, the Stroke Association, today officially opened the new Life After Stroke Centre, Church Lane, Bromsgrove, and was received by Mrs. Angela Brinton (Deputy Lieutenant of Worcestershire).
His Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened Abbey Stadium Sports Centre, Redditch.
The Duke of Kent later presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise to Capital Safety Systems, 51 Merse Road, North Moons Moat, Redditch.
