The Rt Hon Sir John Major KG (Chairman of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Trust) was received by The Queen today.
His Excellency Mr Kamalesh Sharma (Commonwealth Secretary-General) was received by The Queen.
Lieutenant Commander Adrian Mundin RN was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Equerry to The Duke of Edinburgh when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.
The Queen this evening attended a “Celebration of the Arts” Reception, jointly held by the Royal Academies of Art, Music, Dance and Dramatic Art at the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer), the President of the Royal Academy of Art (Mr Christopher Le Brun), the Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Dance (Mr Luke Rittner), the Principal of the Royal Academy of Music (Professor Jonathan Freeman-Attwood) and the Artistic Director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Mr Edward Kemp).
Her Majesty, escorted by the President of the Royal Academy of Art, presented Diamond Jubilee Awards to recipients who have made a special contribution to national culture, and met benefactors of the Awards.
The Queen toured the Galleries meeting performers, artists, chefs and musicians and viewing a drama performance, sculptures, architectural models and an artisan food stand.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Captain General, Royal Marines, today received Major General John Rose upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel Commandant and Major General Jeremy Thomas upon assuming the appointment.
His Royal Highness, Patron, later attended the Muscular Dystrophy President’s Club Lunch at the Academy of Medical Sciences, 41 Portland Place, London W1.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Cutty Sark Trust, this evening attended a Dinner in the Sammy Ofer Gallery, Cutty Sark, Greenwich, London SE10.
The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Earl of Onslow which was held in St Margaret’s Church Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, on behalf of The Queen in celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, today carried out engagements in Canada.
Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Legislative Drive, Regina, and were received by the Premier of Saskatchewan (the Hon Bradley Wall).
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended the “At Home with Saskatchewan Leaders” Reception given by the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan (Her Honour Mrs Vaughn Schofield) at Government House, Dawdney Avenue, Regina.
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the First Nations University.
The Prince of Wales subsequently visited “Ground Effects Environmental Services”, 2251 Industrial Drive, Regina.
His Royal Highness later received the Prime Minister of Canada (the Hon Stephen Harper) at the Hotel Saskatchewan, Regina.
The Prince of Wales received the Governor-General of Canada (His Excellency the Rt Hon David Johnston) at the Hotel Saskatchewan.
The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Regina Symphony Orchestra, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Concert given by the Government of Canada at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police “Depot Division”, Regina, followed by a Reception.
Their Royal Highnesses this evening departed Canada for the United Kingdom.

The Duke of York afterwards attended the opening of “The Horse: Arabia to Royal Ascot” Exhibition at the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1.

The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner given by the Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland (the Lord Selkirk of Douglas) at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
