The Prince of Wales this afternoon attended The Queen’s Annual Birthday Party Reception given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Romania (His Excellency Mr Martin Harris) at the National Bank of Romania, Bucharest, Romania.

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, Outward Bound Trust, this morning held a Trustees’ Meeting followed by a Patron’s Company Lunch at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness this afternoon received Ms Jacqueline Frost (Non Executive Managing Director, Are You Ready?), Ms Catherine Brentnall (Director), Ms Rebecca Mollart (Director) and Mr Carl Hopkins (Patron).

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, on behalf of The Queen in celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Gibraltar and were later received at Gibraltar International Airport by the Governor of Gibraltar (His Excellency Vice Admiral Sir Adrian Johns).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards attended a Diamond Jubilee Song and Dance Road Show at John Mackintosh Square.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon planted an Oak Tree in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee at the Convent, Main Street.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, later presented Awards to young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

His Royal Highness subsequently visited the Gibraltar Dockyard.

The Countess of Wessex, President, Girlguiding UK, this afternoon visited the Girl Guides Headquarters, Alameda House, and presented a Baden Powell Award and a Laurel Award.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this evening laid the Foundation Stone of the Diamond Jubilee Monument at the Jubilee Commonwealth Park.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards attended a Reception given by the Government of Gibraltar at King’s Bastion Terrace.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex subsequently attended a Dinner given by the Chief Minister at the Rock Hotel.
