Buckingham Palace

The Queen this afternoon gave a Garden Party for Norfolk and Suffolk at Sandringham House to mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.

The Duke of York was present.

The Bands of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Collingwood, Hunstanton Concert Band, Taverham Band and Norfolk County Symphonic Wind Band played selections of music during the afternoon.

The Prince of Wales, President, Prime, this afternoon held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Teaching Institute, afterwards held a Meeting.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Teaching Institute, this evening held a Dinner at St James’s Palace.

The Duke of York this morning visited Teen Tech, the Hampshire Court Hotel, Great Binfields Road, Chineham, Basingstoke, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, on behalf of The Queen in celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, today carried out engagements in Gibraltar.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning met Members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and their families at the Tower, Navy Base, and viewed a fly-past by the Royal Air Force.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards visited the Calpe and Mediterranean Rowing Clubs’ Boat Houses, and presented prizes for the Jubilee Regatta and the Wessex Cup.

The Countess of Wessex visited St Martin’s (Special Needs) School.

The Earl of Wessex, President, Seafarers UK (King George’s Fund for Sailors), accompanied by The Countess of Wessex, later visited Gibraltar Seafarers’ Centre, Flying Angel Club, North Mole.

Their Royal Highnesses subsequently visited the Port Authority and Vessel Traffic Control Centre.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex today visited Alameda Gardens (Whale Bone Gate).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited the Gibraltar Museum.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex afterwards visited Queen’s Lookout, the Upper Rock.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Stay Behind Cave.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex subsequently opened the Children’s Playground at the Moorish Castle Estate.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended The Queen’s Birthday Parade, Casemates Square, and afterwards attended a Jubilee Garden Party at the Convent, Main Street.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (United Kingdom) this morning attended the International Convention at Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club, Maxstoke Lane, Meriden, and was received by Mr Michael Fetherston-Dilke (Deputy Lieutenant of Warwickshire).

Her Royal Highness, President, Save the Children UK, this afternoon attended a Reception at Compton Verney and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr Martin Dunne).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Gloucestershire Rugby Football Union, this evening attended the Annual Awards Reception at Hartpury College, Hartpury House, Hartpury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, the Institute of Export, this evening attended a Reception for the winners of The Queen’s Awards for Export at the Raddison Blu Portman Hotel, 22 Portman Square, London W1.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Royal Patron, Holly Lodge Centre, this evening attended Richmond Park Reflections at the Belvedere, Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park, Surrey.
