The Reverend Canon John Ovenden was received by The Queen at Windsor Castle this morning upon relinquishing his appointment as Chaplain of the Royal Chapel, Windsor Great Park.

The Reverend Canon John White was received by The Queen at Windsor Castle when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Dinner for International Olympic Committee Executive Board Members and London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Directors at the Inner Temple, London EC4.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Patron, this morning attended the Durham Light Infantry Association Memorial Dedication Service at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr Ian Dudson).
