COURT CIRCULAR

Balmoral Castle 

The Queen arrived at Balmoral Castle today, was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby) and then inspected the Royal Guard found by A (Grenadier) Company The Black Watch, 3rd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

St James’s Palace 

The Duchess of Cambridge, Official Ambassador, today visited the Olympic Games.

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York today received The President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning opened the National Coastwatch Institution Dorset Training Centre, National Coastwatch Institution Portland Bill Lookout, Old Higher Lighthouse Road, Portland Bill, and presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mrs Anthony Pitt-Rivers).

Her Royal Highness, Member, International Olympic Committee, and President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today visited the Olympic Games.

The Princess Royal, President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon visited Olympic Armed Forces Security Personnel at Royal Fleet Auxiliary Mounts Bay, Portland Port, Dorset.

Appendix to Court Circular

The Duke of York has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant Commander Michael Hutchinson RN to be Equerry to His Royal Highness.

Lieutenant Commander Hutchinson succeeds Squadron Leader Charlotte Fenn RAF who relinquishes her appointment on completion of her tour of duty.
