By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Choo Kyu Ho at 60 Buckingham Gate, London SW1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Korea to the Court of St James’s.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, representing The Queen, today carried out the following engagements in Singapore to mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon arrived at Changi International Airport and were received by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Singapore (His Excellency Mr. Antony Phillipson) and Mr. Michael Tan (Acting Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge afterwards attended an Orchid Naming Ceremony at the Botanical Gardens.
Their Royal Highnesses this evening visited The President of the Republic of Singapore at the Istana.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore at the Istana.
Their Royal Highnesses later attended a State Dinner given by The President of the Republic of Singapore at the Istana.

The Duke of York, Patron, today attended The Duke of York Young Champions’ Trophy at Turnberry, Ayrshire.
The Duke of York, Patron, The Duke of York Young Champions’ Trophy, this evening attended the Tournament Dinner at the Marine Hotel, Troon, Ayrshire.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Canada and later arrived at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, Ontario.
Their Royal Highnesses subsequently called upon the Governor-General of Canada (the Rt Hon David Johnston) at Rideau Hall, Ottawa.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Reception for the Canadian Royal Victorian Order at Rideau Hall.
Brigadier John Smedley and Mr and Mrs Christopher Carnegie are in attendance.
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Thanksgiving Service and Reception to mark The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in Melrose Parish Church, Weirbank, St. Marys Road, Melrose, Roxburghshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale (Captain the Hon Gerald Maitland-Carew).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Jubilee Woods Project, later visited the Glen, Innerleithen, Peeblesshire, to mark the planting of the Diamond Wood.
