COURT CIRCULAR

Balmoral Castle 

By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Dr Muhamet Hamiti at 100 Pall Mall London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Kosovo to the Court of St James’s.

By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Mr Pieter Waldeckat 29 Exhibition Road, London SW7, in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Netherlands to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House 

The Prince of Wales this morning held a Fresh Start Meeting at Clarence House.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Ludlow Market, Castle Square, Ludlow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Mr Algernon Heber-Percy).

The Prince of Wales afterwards visited St. Laurence Church, College Street, Ludlow, and launched the Jubilee Garden Community Project, and, as Patron of Eminescu Mihai Trust, met Romanian craftsmen.

His Royal Highness, Founder, In Kind Direct, later visited the warehouse at Stafford Park, Telford, Shropshire.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, subsequently unveiled the newly restored Boy and Swan Fountain at Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, Coach Road, Coalbrookdale, Telford.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, representing The Queen, today carried out the following engagements in Solomon Islands to mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning called upon the Prime Minister of Solomon Islands at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge afterwards visited Solomon Islands Festival Village, Honiara.

The Duke of Cambridge later attended a Commonwealth Youth Programme Event at the Commonwealth Centre, Honiara.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon opened Commonwealth Street, Honiara, and subsequently laid a wreath at the Coastwatchers Memorial.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge afterwards attended a Meeting with the Chamber of Commerce and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Trust at Solomon Kitano Mendana Hotel, Honiara.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Marapa.

The Duchess of Cambridge this morning attended a Women’s Reception at the Festival Village.

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, this morning received Rear Admiral Thomas Cunningham upon relinquishing his appointment as Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Aviation & Carriers) and Rear Admiral Fleet Air Arm.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the offices of Infosys, 10 Upper Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London E14.

The Duke of York, Patron, Young Engineers, later received Mr Kenneth Sanders upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr Robert Saunders upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Patron, afterwards held a Meeting with representatives from Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

The Duke of York received Ms Claire Sutcliffe (Co-Founder, Code Club) and Mr Jason Goodman (Advisory Board Member).

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception at Harvey Nash, 110 Bishopsgate, London EC2, to commemorate the opening of their new offices.

The Duke of York this evening held a Reception for the Apple Design Team at Buckingham Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, International Foundation, and Honorary Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Young Canadian’s Challenge Charter for Business, this morning attended a Breakfast Meeting at Fairmont Royal York Hotel, 100 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Young Canadian’s Challenge Charter for Business, afterwards attended a Recruiting Event at TD Bank Tower, 66 Wellington Street West, Toronto.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex later attended the 2015 Pan Para/Pan American Games Event at Corus Quay, 25 Dockside Drive, Toronto, and were received by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario (the Hon David Onley).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, International Council, later attended a Community Showcase and Reception for Young People who have reached the Gold Standard of the Award at the Design Exchange, 234 Bay Street, Toronto.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, International Foundation, subsequently attended an International Donor Meeting at Fairmont Royal York Hotel.

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Young Canadian’s Challenge Charter for Business, and The Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner in Toronto.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Diamond Jubilee Community Volunteer Roundtable Lunch at Queen’s Park, Toronto, and was received by the the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

Her Royal Highness later attended a “Roots of Empathy” Event at Market Lane Primary School, 246 the Esplanade, Toronto.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, today presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to the Riding for the Disabled Association Wilton Group, Pembroke Centre, Netherhampton, Salisbury, and was received by Lady Hawley (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire).

Her Royal Highness, Visitor, Dorothy House Hospice Care, this afternoon opened Dorothy House Outreach Centre, Trinity House, Bryer-Ash Business Park, Trowbridge, and was received by Mr Robert Floyd (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire).

Kensington Palace 

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Army Families Federation, this afternoon received Mrs Julie McCarthy upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive and Mrs Catherine Spencer upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Army Families Federation, this evening attended a Reception to mark the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Federation at Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum, HM Tower of London.
