The Reverend Kenneth MacKenzie preached the Sermon.

Lieutenant Colonel Charles Richards was received by The Queen today when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent this evening presented the prizes for the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition at the Barbican Hall, Silk Street, London EC2.

Appendix to Court Circular

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Canon Martin Poll to be Chaplain of the Royal Chapel, Windsor Great Park and Canon of Windsor upon the retirement of the Reverend Canon John Ovenden.

Her Majesty has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Canon John Ovenden to be Canon Emeritus of St George’s Chapel, Windsor.
