The Earl of Wessex this morning visited the Reporters’ Academy at Salford City Stadium, 1 Stadium Way, Eccles, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr Warren Smith).

His Royal Highness, Patron, later opened the new School Building at Chetham’s School of Music, Long Millgate, Manchester.

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited Greater Manchester Police Headquarters, Central Park, Northampton Road, Manchester.

His Royal Highness afterwards opened the new Mahdlo Youth Zone, Eggerton Street, Oldham.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Dyslexia Action, this morning visited the Oasis Academy John Williams, Petherton Road, Hengrove, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs John Prior).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Cots for Tots House at St Michael’s Hospital, Southwell Street, Bristol.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Unicorn Preservation Society, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Reception onboard HM Frigate Unicorn in Victoria Dock, Dundee, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Dundee (Mr Robert Duncan, the Lord Provost).

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited the Somerset Motor Project, Tor Stone Business Park, Edgarley Road, Glastonbury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Lady Gass).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Wells Cathedral, Somerset.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon opened Wells Joint Cadet Centre, Webbs Close, West Street, Wells.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent this morning visited Cumbria’s Military Museum, the Castle, Carlisle, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria (Sir James Cropper).

His Royal Highness, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this afternoon visited the Province of Cumberland and Westmorland at the Masonic Hall, 10 Portland Square, Carlisle.

The Duke of Kent later visited Trinity School, Strand Road, Carlisle.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park 

Princess Alexandra, President, Sightsavers, this evening visited an exhibition of paintings by Graham Rust at the London Oratory, Brompton Road, London SW7.
