Windsor Castle
The Queen arrived at Windsor Castle from Balmoral Castle this afternoon.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope (First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Admiral Sir David Williams (formerly Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Gibraltar) which was held in the Chapel of the Royal Britannia Naval College, Dartmouth, this afternoon.
The Prince of Wales was represented by Admiral Sir John Treacher.
The Duke of York was represented by Vice Admiral Rory McLean.
The Princess Royal was represented by Admiral of the Fleet Sir Benjamin Bathurst.
The Duke of Kent was represented by Mrs Paul Samber.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Cambridge, Royal Master of the Bench, and The Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, London EC4, to meet the first recipients of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Scholarship.
Buckingham Palace
The Duke of York, Patron-in-Chief, this morning held a Meeting for the British Exploring Society and apprentices.
His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Trustees, Outward Bound Trust, later held a Trustees’ Meeting and subsequently gave a Luncheon for the Patron’s Company.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Tenovus Scotland, this afternoon visited the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, 232-242 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Sadie Docherty, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
Her Royal Highness, Honorary President, Spinal Injuries Scotland, later opened Clober Farm Relief Centre, Clober Farm Lane, Milngavie, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire (Rear Admiral Michael Gregory).
The Princess Royal this evening opened Killin Street Combined Cadet Detachment Centre, 98 Killin Street, Glasgow.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent this morning visited East African Breweries Limited, Luzira, Kampala, Uganda.
His Royal Highness later visited the Ugandan Rapid Deployment Corps and the Ugandan Army Senior Command and Staff College, Jinja.
The Duke of Kent, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this afternoon visited the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Jinja.
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner given by the Government of Uganda in Kampala.

Princess Alexandra, Patron, RA Now, this evening attended the Private View at the Royal Academy of Arts, 6 Burlington Gardens, London W1, followed by Dinner at St James’s Palace.
