His Excellency Mr Konstantin Stefanov Dimitrov was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Bulgaria to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Dimitrova was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Mr Julio Muñoz was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Peru to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs de Muñoz was also received by Her Majesty.
Mr Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
Sir Peter Westmacott was received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States of America.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Life Member, the British Sub-Aqua Club, this morning presented the Jubilee Trust Duke of Edinburgh Prize at Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Burma Star Association, was represented by the Viscount Slim (President) at the Memorial Service for the Life of Captain Patrick Vincent (formerly Chairman) which was held in St Margaret’s Church, Lothbury, London EC2, this morning.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Joint Patron, Diamond Champions (Women’s Royal Voluntary Service Campaign to recognise the contribution of older volunteers), this morning received Mrs Madeline Mason (Diamond Champion Volunteer), Miss Kimberley Walsh (Campaign Supporter), and guide dogs, owners and trainers.
Her Royal Highness, President, National Osteoporosis Society, received supporters with osteoporosis participating in the International Osteoporosis Foundation’s “Unbreakable Embrace” Campaign at Clarence House.
