The Duke of Edinburgh, President Emeritus, World Wide Fund for Nature — International, this evening presented The Duke of Edinburgh Conservation Medal and held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.
By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Dr M. Sayeedur Rahman Khan at 28 Queen’s Gate, London SW7, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in London.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Guild of St Bride, this evening attended a Commemorative Service, “A Hard Call — Reporting from the Front Line” in St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street, London EC4, followed by a Reception at Crowne Plaza London — the City, 19 New Bridge Street, London EC4.

The Princess Royal this afternoon opened Northside Bridge, Workington, Cumberland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria (Sir James Cropper).
Her Royal Highness later opened Penrith Community Fire Station, Kemplay Roundabout, Bridge Lane, Penrith, Cumbria.
The Princess Royal, Patron, the Jubilee Woods Project, this evening held a Reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Her Royal Highness, President, Carers Trust, subsequently attended a Dinner at Prestonfield House Hotel, Priestfield Road, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
