The Prime Minister of Thailand (Mrs Yingluck Shinawatra) was received by The Queen this morning.
Mr Timothy Hitchens was received in audience by The Queen today and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Japan.
Mrs Hitchens was also received by Her Majesty.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Luncheon for The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Frau Schadt this afternoon.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness this evening gave a Reception for the winners of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise at Buckingham Palace.
The Earl of Wessex and Prince Michael of Kent were present.
The Earl Attlee (Lord in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Frau Schadt and welcomed His Excellency and Frau Schadt on behalf of The Queen.

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited King’s Stairs Gardens, Jamaica Road, Rotherhithe, London SE16, to mark The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and was received by Mrs Jennifer Bianco (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited St James’ Church of England Primary School, Old Jamaica Road, Bermondsey, London SE16.
The Earl of Wessex later visited Miss Grace Jones, aged 112 (the oldest person in the United Kingdom), in London.
His Royal Highness, Honorary Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, this afternoon held a Meeting.
The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Clervaux Trust, Jolby Lane, Croft-on-Tees, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire (Mrs Johanna Ropner).
Her Royal Highness afterwards opened Escomb Village Hall and Jubilee Gardens, Escomb, Bishop Auckland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham (Sir Paul Nicholson).
The Countess of Wessex this afternoon re-opened Hartlepool Sixth Form College, Blakelock Road, Hartlepool.
Her Royal Highness later re-opened Billingham Forum, Queensway, Stockton-on Tees.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Livability, this evening attended the Annual Awards Ceremony at Grocers’ Hall, Princes Street, London EC2.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Whitley Fund for Nature, afterwards attended the Annual Supporters Dinner in London.

The Duke of Kent this morning met British Armed Forces servicemen and women at the Mount Pleasant Complex, Falkland Islands.
