Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning visited the Magistral Villa of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Via Condotti, Rome, Italy.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester later attended Mass to commemorate the English Martyrs in the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury and afterwards attended the Feast of the English Martyrs at the Venerable English College, Via di Monserrato, Rome, to commemorate their Six Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary.

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited the Basilica of St Paul’s Outside the Walls, Via Ostiense, Rome.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester afterwards visited the Pontifical Beda College, Viale San Paolo, Rome.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Italy.

Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Todd and Mrs. Euan McCorquodale were in attendance.
