The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Honorary Colonel, this afternoon attended the Freedom of Monmouth Parade and a Service of Thanksgiving before taking the Salute at a Parade of the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia) at the Castle, Monmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Mr. Simon Boyle).
