Buckingham Palace
The Queen this morning attended a Meeting of the Cabinet at No 10 Downing Street.
The Queen afterwards visited the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, King Charles Street, London SW1, to commemorate Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee, and was received by the Rt Hon William Hague MP (Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) and Mr Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary).
Her Majesty toured the building, meeting Ministers, former Permanent Under-Secretaries and members of staff.
Clarence House
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited volunteers running Christmas events for their communities at Hollybush Estate, Bethnal Green, London E2, and the Everlasting Arms Ministries, 600-608 Old Kent Road, London SE15, and were received by Commander John Ludgate (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
His Royal Highness, President, Business in the Community, this afternoon presented The Prince of Wales Medals for Arts Philanthropy at St James’s Palace.
The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Teaching Institute, later held a Meeting at Clarence House.
His Royal Highness afterwards held a Meeting with representatives from the Crown Estate at Clarence House.
The Prince of Wales, Patron, this evening held a Reception at Clarence House to mark the Fortieth Anniversary of Action Aid.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan.
Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning visited the Close Support Logistic Regiment.
The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Army Veterinary Corps, afterwards visited the Theatre Military Working Dogs Squadron.
Her Royal Highness, Royal Colonel, The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, later visited the Brigade Advisory Group.
The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Corps of Signals, this afternoon visited the Joint Force Communications and Information Systems Headquarters.
Her Royal Highness subsequently visited Camp Bastion Hospital.
The Princess Royal this evening visited the Joint Aviation Group Apache Detachment.
Her Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Brize Norton, later visited Royal Air Force Brize Norton Detachment.
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, afterwards departed Camp Bastion for the United Kingdom.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, Patron, St Mungo Community Housing Association Limited, this evening attendd a Christmas Carol Concert in St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street, London EC4.
