COURT CIRCULAR

Sandringham, Norfolk 

The Queen this morning opened the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gayton Road, King’s Lynn, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr Richard Jewson), the Chairman of the Board of Directors (Mrs Kathleen Gordon) and the Mayor of the Borough of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk (Councillor Geoffrey Wareham).

Her Majesty, escorted by Ms Patricia Wright (Chief Executive), viewed a demonstration of machines in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging area and met patients and members of staff.

By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Eduardo Medina-Mora at 16 St. George Street, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Mexico to the Court of St James’s.

The Prince of Wales this morning received Mr Rory Tapner (Chief Executive, Wealth Division, Royal Bank of Scotland Group).

His Royal Highness received Mr Paul Lister (Founder, European Nature Trust).

The Prince of Wales, President, this afternoon attended a Reception for Business in the Community “Game Changers” at New Zealand House, 80 Haymarket, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Initiative for Mature Enterprise, afterwards held a Meeting.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts, this evening attended a Gala at Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon gave a Reception at Clarence House for those involved in supporting the victims of rape and sexual abuse.

The Duke of York this morning held a Meeting for London Community Learning Trust.

His Royal Highness this afternoon received Ms Louise Rogers (Chief Executive Officer, TSL Education Limited).

The Duke of York received Mr Sanjay Mehta (Director, Essar Global Limited).

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today attended Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Army Veterinary Corps, this morning opened the new Veterinary Hospital and Kennels at Puckridge Barracks, Aldershot, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Japan Society, and The Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended the launch of Japan400 at Skinners’ Hall, 8 Dowgate Hill, London EC4.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent this morning visited Esher Church of England High School, More Lane, Esher, and was received by Mrs Heather Hawker (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

His Royal Highness later visited GASP Motor Project Workshop, Albury Sandpit, Shere Road, Albury, Guildford, Surrey.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited the Surrey Hills Brewery, Denbies Wine Estate, London Road, Dorking.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Betchworth Castle, Reigate Road, Dorking.
