Buckingham Palace 

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were present this evening at a Reception given by the Commonwealth Secretary-General (His Excellency Mr Kamalesh Sharma) at Marlborough House.

Her Majesty addressed those present.

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon attended the Commonwealth Day Observance Service in Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

Clarence House 

The Prince of Wales this morning departed from Royal Air Force Brize Norton for Jordan and was received upon arrival this evening at Amman Marka Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (His Excellency Mr Peter Millett) and Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad (Chief Advisor on Religious and Cultural Affairs to The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were later received by The King and Queen of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at Beit al-Urdun Palace.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, the Brooke, accompanied by Princess Dana Firas, this afternoon met veterinarians and junior park rangers at the Equine Veterinary Clinic, Petra National Trust, Petra.

Mr Simon Martin, Mrs Amanda MacManus, Mr Patrick Harverson, Miss Laura McCleary and Major Peter Flynn are in attendance.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, Patron, Catch22, this morning attended an Awards Ceremony at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Butler Trust, this afternoon held the Annual Awards Ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal, President, Animal Health Trust, this evening attended a Dinner at the Ritz Hotel, 150 Piccadilly, London W1.

Kensington Palace 

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, this afternoon attended a Meeting of the Governing Body, and this evening was present at a performance of Eugene Onegin at the Royal Academy of Music, Marylebone Road, London NW1.
