The Duke of Edinburgh, also representing The Queen, Patron, this morning attended a Service in the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London SW1, to commemorate the One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Scripture Readers Association.

Clarence House 

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out the following engagements in Doha, Qatar.

His Royal Highness this morning attended a Reception at the Four Seasons Hotel to mark the launch of the Qatar-UK Alumni Network.

The Prince of Wales afterwards called upon Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned at the Qatar Foundation.

His Royal Highness this afternoon met representatives of British companies at Qatar Science and Technology Park.

The Prince of Wales later visited the Misheireb Enrichment Centre.

His Royal Highness afterwards called upon Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al Thani (Prime Minister of the State of Qatar and Minister for Foreign Affairs) at Al Wajba Palace.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening met participants of The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts workshop at Katara Cultural Village and viewed the British Council’s Arts and Disabilities and Design to Win exhibitions as well as watching a brief performance by young musicians from Qatar Music Academy.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning met Qatari alumne of the “Springboard” Women’s Development Programme at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the British Council’s “Kids Read” project at the Amna Al Jaidah Independent School for Girls.

The Duchess of Cornwall today visited the “Al Johara” project at Qatar Science and Technology Park.

The Duke of York this morning visited Swale Skills Centre, Sittingbourne, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscount De L’Isle).

His Royal Highness today visited Kent Choices 4U Exhibition at the Kent Showground, Detling.

The Duke of York this afternoon visited the Peter Jones Academy, East Kent College, Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs.

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning visited the Jedlickuv Institute School and Free Time Facility for Disabled Children in Prague, the Czech Republic.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Prague British School.

Her Royal Highness visited the British Council.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Luncheon promoting the “Taste of Britain” given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic (Her Excellency Miss Sian MacLeod) and Mr Robinson at the Residence.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the Czech Republic.

Brigadier John Smedley and Mrs Philippa Southgate-Sands were in attendance.

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Crisis Centre Ministries, 32 Stapleton Road, Easton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs John Prior).

His Royal Highness, Royal Patron, the British Museum, this afternoon opened the Pharaoh: King of Egypt Exhibition at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Queen’s Road, Bristol.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent, President, the Engineering Council, this morning visited the Big Bang Science and Engineering Fair at the ExCel Centre, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16.

His Royal Highness, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this evening attended the Board of Grand Stewards Dinner at Mosimann’s, 11B West Halkin Street, London SW1.
