The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by the Earl of Dundee at the Memorial Service for James Macnab of Macnab which was held at Killin and Ardeonaig Parish Church, Main Street, Killin, Perthshire, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended a Reception given by His Excellency Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar and Mrs O’Neill at the Residence in Doha to celebrate United Kingdom — Qatari Bilateral Relations.

His Royal Highness later joined a discussion on food security and the challenges of farming in an arid environment with farm workers and students from the Qatar Foundation International Programme at Al Safwa Farm,Doha.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon departed Doha International Airport for Saudi Arabia and were received upon arrival at Riyadh Military Airbase by the Governor of Riyadh (Prince Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud).

Their Royal Highnesses later attended a Reception given by His Excellency Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lady Jenkins at the Residence in Riyadh to celebrate United Kingdom — Saudi Bilateral Relations.

The Prince of Wales this evening called upon The Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and remained to Dinner.

The Duke of York, Patron, this morning visited Hackney University Technical College, Falkirk Street, London N1.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Lunch at Hackney Community College, Shoreditch Campus, Falkirk Street.

The Duke of York, Patron, Young Engineers, this afternoon visited the Big Bang Fair at the ExCel London Exhibition and Conference Centre, 1 Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
