Her Excellency Mrs Asta Skaisgiryte Liauskiene was received by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Lithuania to the Court of St James’s.
Her Excellency Mrs Marie-Pierre Lloyd was received in audience by Her Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Seychelles in London.
Mr Matthew Rycroft (Chief Operating Officer of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.
Mr Alexander Ellis was received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Brazil.
Ms Teresa Adegas was also received by Her Majesty.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended the Enthronement of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Rt Hon Justin Welby, in Canterbury Cathedral and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscount De L’Isle).

The Duke of York, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, this morning visited HMS Collingwood, Newgate Lane, Fareham, Hampshire.
His Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Education and Resettlement Centre (Waterfront) and the Education and Resettlement Centre (Nelson), HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The Duke of York later visited HMS Duncan, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth.
His Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, subsequently presented campaign medals and remained to Dinner onboard HMS Illustrious, HM Naval Base Portsmouth.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon opened Alexandra College of Enterprise, Alexandra Road, Tipton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr Paul Sabapathy).
His Royal Highness, Patron, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, later attended a Concert and Reception at Symphony Hall, International Convention Centre, Broad Street, Birmingham.
The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Ginsters of Cornwall, Tavistock Road, Callington, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the extension of the Royal Cornwall Showground Exhibition, Whitecross, Wadebridge, and afterwards attended the Council Meeting and the Annual General Meeting of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association.

The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this morning attended the Northern Ireland Supra Regional Conference, Templeton Hotel, 882 Antrim Road, Templepatrick, Ballyclare, and was received by Mr Mervyn Elder (Deputy Lieutenant of County Antrim).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference (United Kingdom), this afternoon attended the Conference Study Tour at Belfast Metropolitan College, 7 Queens Road, Belfast, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Dame Mary Peters).

The Duke of Gloucester, President, Ambition, this morning visited Wayz Youth Club, Calfridus Way, Bracknell, and was received by Lieutenant Commander Peter Goodacre (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).
His Royal Highness today visited the Museum of English Rural Life at the University of Reading, Redlands Road,Reading, and was received by Mr Jeffrey Branch (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise to Greenham Common Community Trust, Broadway House, 4 the Broadway, Northbrook Street, Newbury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss).
The Duchess of Gloucester, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers, on behalf of The Queen, this afternoon received Mr Patrick King (Master) and Mr Martin Davies (Clerk) who presented a Fan to Her Royal Highness for Her Majesty, in celebration of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
