The Earl of Wessex afterwards opened the renovated South Cheshire College, Dane Bank Avenue.

The Earl of Wessex later opened Cheshire Academy of Integrated Sports and Arts Broad Street Project in Broad Street.
His Royal Highness this evening launched the Cheshire Community Foundation at a Reception at Bentley Motors Limited.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the new Almshouse Flats at the New College of Cobham, Cobhambury Road, Cobham, Gravesend, Kent.
The Princess Royal later opened the Affordable Rural Housing Scheme at Sunley Gardens, Godmersham, Canterbury.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Voluntary Service Overseas, this evening attended a Dinner at the Goring Hotel, 15 Beeston Place, London SW1.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Bistro at the Station, Station Approach, High Street, Etchingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr Peter Field).
His Royal Highness subsequently visited St Michael’s Hospice, 25 Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards-on-Sea, to mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary, and was received by Major General John Moore-Bick (Deputy Lieutenant of East Sussex).
