Prince Henry of Wales this morning opened the new Headway Headquarters at Bradbury House, 190 Bagnall Road, Old Basford, Nottingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire (Sir John Peace).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Russell Youth Centre, Lowdham Road, St Ann’s, Nottingham.

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon launched the Confetti Television Institute at the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, Beck Street, Nottingham.

The Earl of Wessex, President, Creative Youth, this evening attended a Gala Dinner at Holiday Inn London — Kingston South, Portsmouth Road, Surbiton, and was received by Mr Charles Fowler (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

The Countess of Wessex, Vice Patron, Royal Bath and West of England Society, this afternoon held a Meeting.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The King’s Royal Hussars this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Potts upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Justin Kingsford upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Wooden Spoon Society, this afternoon opened the Wooden Spoon Pavilion at Ferring Country Centre, Rife Way, Ferring, Worthing, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex (Mrs Susan Pyper).

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, later visited Surrey and Sussex Probation Trust, 4 Farncombe Road, Worthing.

Her Royal Highness, Commandant-in-Chief, First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal’s Volunteer Corps), this evening attended a Recruits’ Passing Out Parade at Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, and was received by Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal New Zealand Army Medical Corps, this morning attended the ANZAC Wreath Laying Service at the Cenotaph and was received by Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon opened Uplands Educational Trust Shop at Uplands School, Tadpole Lane, Swindon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs Sarah Troughton).

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened the new building at St Francis Church of England Voluntary-Aided Primary School, Aiken Road, Taw Hill, Swindon.

The Duke of Kent this morning attended the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Australian Memorial, Hyde Park Corner. London SW1.

His Royal Highness, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, later attended the Annual Investiture of Grand Chapter, Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street, London WC2.
