By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Anton Thalmann at 21 Bryanston Square, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Switzerland to the Court of St James’s.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Cambridge this morning opened the Union of European Football Associations’ Congress at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London W1.

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York this morning received Mr Dhanin Chearavanont (Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CP Group).

His Royal Highness, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at Ironmongers’ Hall, Shaftesbury Place, London EC2.

The Duke of York, Patron, later attended a Reception at Royal Winchester Golf Club to commemorate the Club’s One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary and was received by Brigadier David Harrison (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning attended a Homecoming and Medal Parade in Abingdon-on-Thames followed by a Reception at the Guildhall, Abbey Close, and a Service of Thanksgiving in St Helen’s Church, St Helen’s Court, and was received by Mr John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent, Patron, Newbury Spring Festival, this evening attended the Closing Concert in St Nicolas Church, St Nicolas Hall, West Mills, Newbury, Berkshire.
