By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Anton Thalmann at 21 Bryanston Square, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from Switzerland to the Court of St James’s.

His Royal Highness, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at Ironmongers’ Hall, Shaftesbury Place, London EC2.
The Duke of York, Patron, later attended a Reception at Royal Winchester Golf Club to commemorate the Club’s One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary and was received by Brigadier David Harrison (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning attended a Homecoming and Medal Parade in Abingdon-on-Thames followed by a Reception at the Guildhall, Abbey Close, and a Service of Thanksgiving in St Helen’s Church, St Helen’s Court, and was received by Mr John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
