COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning laid wreaths at the Royal and Merchant Navy Memorials, Liverpool Pier Head, and afterwards attended a Service of Remembrance to commemorate the Seventieth Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic in Liverpool Cathedral, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Dame Lorna Muirhead).
