The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Lieutenant Colonel Charles Richards at the Funeral of The Landgrave of Hesse which was held in St John’s Church, Kronberg, Germany, this morning.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Prince Philipp of Hohenlohe-Langenburg.

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon attended a Board Meeting for the Confederation of Apprenticeship Training Agencies.

The Duke of York, Commodore, the Royal Thames Yacht Club, received Mr Michael Gardner (Vice Commodore) and Captain David Freeman (Secretary).

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner for the E20 group of entrepreneurs at Corinthia Hotel London, Whitehall Place, London SW1.

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, this evening presented Operational Service medals to soldiers who have recently returned from Afghanistan at the London Regiment Medal Parade, Horseferry Road, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Patron, British Nutrition Foundation, this morning launched the first Healthy Eating Week for Schools at Brimscombe Church of England Primary School, Brimscombe, Stroud, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Yate International Academy, Sundridge Park, Yate.
