The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce) was received by The Queen today.

Mr Michael Bryce was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Captain William Spence (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Orkney) at the Memorial Service for Dr Anthony Trickett (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Orkney) which was held in St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall, Orkney, this afternoon.

The Duke of Gloucester was represented by Mr David Oddie.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay today carried out engagements in Dundee, Angus.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited D.C. Thomson and Company Limited, Courier Buildings, 2 Albert Square, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Dundee (Mr Robert Duncan, the Lord Provost).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Trust, later visited The Prince’s Trust Dundee Centre, 1B Kemback Street.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Grey Lodge Settlement, 21 South George Street.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, afterwards received a briefing from Breakthrough Breast Cancer and visited Oncology Wards at Ninewells Hospital.

His Royal Highness, Chairman, the Royal Collection Trust, later attended a briefing at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, this evening held a Reception to mark the Fortieth Anniversary of Sabhal Mòr Ostaig at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The Duchess of Rothesay, President, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, this morning visited the Clinical Research Centre at Ninewells Hospital and was received by Reverend Dr J. Morrow (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Dundee).

Her Royal Highness, President, subsequently met representatives of National Osteoporosis Society at the Clinical Research Centre.

The Duchess of Rothesay, President, Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this afternoon visited Maggie’s Dundee, Ninewells Hospital.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, War Memorials Trust, later attended a “SmartWater” ceremony at the Black Watch Memorial as part of the In Memoriam 2014 initiative, Powrie Brae.

The Duke of York this morning visited the Wayra Enternships Careers Fair at the Wayra Academy, 2-10 Capper Street, London WC1.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Intercontinental Church Society, this afternoon received the Viscount Brentford (President) and Mr Richard Bromley (Mission Director).

The Duke of York, Patron, Ladder for London, later attended the Peabody Apprenticeship Fair, Pembury Estate, 57 Shellness Road, London E5.

His Royal Highness this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace for the C Group.

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, the London Gardens Society, this morning visited gardens in Hampstead Garden Suburb, London, NW11, and Muswell Hill, London NW10, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness later opened the new York Gates in Regents Park, London NW1, and was received by Brigadier Paul Orchard-Lisle (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon chaired a Development Committee Meeting.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this afternoon attended a Reception to mark the Seventieth Anniversary of the St John and Red Cross Defence Medical Welfare Service at the House of Lords, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Friends of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, this evening attended a Reception to mark their Fiftieth Anniversary at the Charles Lack Theatre, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Brockley Hill, Stanmore, Middlesex.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon toured the facilities and attended the Classic Tournament at Edgbaston Priory Club, Sir Harry’s Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr Paul Sabapathy).
