Buckingham Palace
The Rt Hon Gregory Knight MP (Vice Chamberlain of the Household) was received in audience by The Queen this evening and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.
Later The Queen attended a Reception at St James’s Palace to commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of Community Service Volunteers and was received by the President (the Lord Levy).

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Cornwall and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Colonel Edward Bolitho).
Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited Bude Town Centre.
The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited the Heritage Centre, the Castle, the Wharf, Bude.
Their Royal Highnesses subsequently visited Stratton Hospital, Stratton, Bude, and met the League of Friends of the Hospital.
The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, President, the Cornwall Crafts Association, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception at the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery, Cott Road, Lostwithiel, to celebrate the Fortieth Anniversary.
The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Children’s Hospice South West, Little Harbour, Porthpean Road, St Austell, and was received by Mr Michael Galsworthy (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall).

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Corps of Signals, this morning visited the 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) at Cawdor Barracks, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Air Commodore, this morning visited Royal Air Force Odiham, Hook, to commemorate the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Review of the Royal Air Force by The Queen and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, Colonel, Scots Guards, today received Lieutenant Colonel Robert Howieson upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 1st Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Bell upon assuming the appointment.
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Rubens Hotel, 39 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1, to mark the Seventieth Anniversary of the death of General Wladyslaw Sikorski.
