Ms Alison Nimmo (Chief Executive, the Crown Estate) was also received by Her Majesty.
The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Timothy Cole (the Republic of Cuba), Mr James Bowden (the Sultanate of Oman) and Mr Simon Smith (Ukraine).
Mrs Cole, Mrs Bowden and Mrs Sian Stickings were also received by Her Majesty.
Dr Christian Turner was received in audience by The Queen upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya.
Mrs Turner was also received by Her Majesty.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Devon and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Sir Eric Dancer).
Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited Brixham Harbour and met the local fishing community, the lifeboat and coastguard crews and members of the Association of Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities.
The Prince of Wales later attended the Fishing into the Future workshop held by The Prince’s Charities’ International Sustainability Unit and the Sea Fish Industry Authority, followed by a Reception at the Berry Head Hotel, Brixham.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, this afternoon visited the West of England School and College Foundation to mark the One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary and to open Cornwall House, Countess Wear, Topsham Road, Exeter.
Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Devon Rape Crisis Service in Exeter.

The Duke of York this afternoon received the Ambassador from the Kingdom of Thailand (His Excellency Mr Pasan Teparak).

The Princess Royal this afternoon opened Havant Public Service Plaza, Civic Centre Road, Havant, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).
Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Reception to mark the Centenary of the Naval Review at the Mary Rose Museum, Historic Dockyard, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, Hampshire.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester today visited Gloucestershire and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Dame Janet Trotter).
Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited the Environment Agency, Riversmeet House, Northway Lane, Tewkesbury.
The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Mythe Water Treatment Works, Ledbury Road, Tewkesbury, and was received by Mr Robert Bernays (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).
His Royal Highness his afternoon visited St Michael’s Tower, the Cross, Gloucester, to commemorate the Fortieth Anniversary of Gloucester Civic Trust and presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to the St Michael’s Tower Project.
The Duke of Gloucester later visited Painswick Community Library, the Town Hall, Victoria Square, Painswick.
The Duchess of Gloucester this morning opened the new classroom at the Butterfly Garden, Bamfurlong Lane, Cheltenham.
Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited St James City Farm, 23 Albany Street, Gloucester.

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this morning officially opened the new Southend-on-Sea Lifeboat Station at Southend Pier and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the new Royal Pavilion on Southend Pier.
