The Prince of Wales, Chairman, the Royal Collection Trust, this morning chaired a Meeting of the Trustees.

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York, Royal Colonel, this morning visited The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland and the families of those who are deployed in Afghanistan, at Glencorse Barracks, Penicuik, and was received by Sir Robert Clerk, Bt (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Midlothian).

His Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, this afternoon visited HMS Queen Elizabeth under construction at Rosyth Royal Dockyard and was received by Mr Robert Balfour (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Fife).

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning invested His Excellency Sir Elliott Belgrave (Governor-General of Barbados) as a Knight of Grace of the Most Venerable Order.

Professor Anthony Mellows (Lord Prior) was present.

His Royal Highness, President, Public Monuments and Sculpture Association, this afternoon received Mr John Lewis (Chairman) and Mr Jolyon Drury (Trustee).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Prostate Cancer UK, this afternoon attended a Board Meeting at Cambridge House, 100 Cambridge Grove, Hammersmith, London W6.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent, Chancellor, University of Surrey, this afternoon attended the Degree Ceremonies in Guildford Cathedral, Surrey.
